Real estate development for Kansas City’s urban core

We are a Kansas City real estate development firm. We acquire and assemble land, consult on development, manage construction, monitor compliance on public programs, and train people for construction and road work.

We are a certified minority-, woman- and disadvantaged-owned business (MBE, WBE, DBE)6, and we work from the Historic Lincoln Building in the 18th & Vine District.

Since 1952

Our story starts in 19521, when Fred Curls opened Fred Curls Realty Co., becoming one of Kansas City’s first African-American real estate brokers and its first African-American appraiser. His firm grew into Curls & Associates, one of the largest African-American real estate firms in Missouri, and in 20051 merged with Jude Joseph LLC to form Curls Jude Joseph. We still do the work he started: rebuilding inner-city Kansas City, one property at a time.
